Can the menstrual cup cause TTS?

TSS is mainly related to the use of tampons. Although, every internal vagina device carries the risk of a TSS.  Mestrual cups are considered as safer than tampons and with less possibilities of causing TSS, as they collect and do not absorb the blood. Do not use any internal vaginal devices (including the Period. Cup) if you have previously been diagnosed with TSS. Learn more about TSS here.

There is a possibility that the color of the Period. Cup will be altered by the blood, especially when the color is transparent. This is normal and does not affect its use. You can clean it with hot water and vinegar.
