How to choose the right cup size

We offer a guide in order to choose the suitable size for you.

The size you will need depends on your flow, your age, whether you have given birth vaginally, your cervix height and your pelvic muscles.

You may have to try different sizes in order to find the one that suits you the best.

Size Guide
  • Small Size

    • For girls and women who haven't given birth vaginally

    • Suitable for light or normal flow

    • For women with a low-sitting cervix

    • For women under 30 years old

    • Capacity: 20 ml

  • Large Size

    • For girls and women who have given birth vaginally

    • Suitable for normal or heavy flow

    • For women with a high-sitting cervix.

    • For women above 30 years old.

    • Capacity:  25 ml.

Other factors to consider when choosing your menstrual cup size:

  • Small Size is also recommended for women with strong vaginal muscles (e.g. who do Yoga or Pilates regularly) .

  • Small size is also recommended for virgins and young teenagers â€‹

  • If you gave birth via C-section, keep in mind that pregnancy still takes a toll on your pelvic floor muscles, so your body may now be better suited to Large size.

  • If you experience leaks with your cup after birth, you may want to consider upping your cup size.

You can change size if one doesn't work out, to find the one that better suits you!

How to measure your cervix

We created a picture guide to help you find out your cervix height and decide which size of menstrual cup fits you best!

Simply insert your index finger in the vagina and find where your cervix is, that feels like a donut (a circle with a hole).

Remember to always wash your hands before you insert your finger!

Use the pictures on the left as a guide to decide if you have a low (between 2-4 cm) or a high sitting cervix (more than 4 cm)!

If you don't feel comfortable doing that, ask your doctor to tell you if you have a high or a low cervix.
